The course content and activities prepare participants to recognize and respond quickly to emergencies, while preventing drowning and injuries.  

* Attendance to the entire class session is mandatory.

Prerequisites: (will be tested on the first day of class)

• Swim 300 yards continuously
• Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using front crawl, surface dive seven, retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object without having your face submerge under the water and exit the water without using a ladder or steps, within one minute and 40 seconds.
• Tread water for two minutes using only legs.

Age: 15+ 

Minimum Enrollment: 4
